Create Art and Inspire Beauty in Your Life

If you’re going through your life, use your time to create art. If you’re frustrated about your life, use your frustrations as fuel to create art. It’s beautiful, awe-inspiring, and magical to create something from nothing. Every moment of creativity you invest in yourself is an investment in your future success.

Look at all the colors

Whether it’s a painting, a photo, or any other art piece, take time to look at it. The beauty of these pieces is astounding; however, you have to look for yourself to see their true majesty. You’ll start thinking about life differently when you notice what others see. Maybe life isn’t so bad after all. Maybe there are more colors than just black and white—and maybe your life is full of color too. There are many different shades, so why not try looking? You might be surprised by what you find.

Watch the reflection of light on the water

Go to a nearby pond or lake. Sit down, take off your shoes, and roll up your pant legs if you need to, but get your feet wet. Watch as light dances across the surface of the water. It’s magical and awe-inspiring—and it’s for free! Soak it all in for a minute or two, then grab a paintbrush (or pencil) and start creating some art of your own. You never know where it might lead you. The best part is that there are no mistakes; just let yourself play and enjoy the process. The act of creation is inherently beautiful; you don’t have to make something unique on your first try. The most important thing is that you’re doing something—that’s what will inspire beauty in your life.

Listen to every instrument playing its part

Every part of life has a symphony: there are notes of beauty and hope, notes of wonder and confusion, notes of anger and fear. And music is beautiful because every note played contributes to creating something truly unique. If you’re going through your life, use your time to create art. If you’re frustrated about your life, use your frustrations as fuel to create art. It’s beautiful, awe-inspiring, and magical. Be inspired by all that life has to offer. Use it to write songs, paint pictures, or just make life more beautiful for yourself and others around you. You never know what kind of magic can come from listening to every instrument playing its part until it comes together with all the other instruments on stage. Life is like a song; if you have pain in your heart or mind, listen carefully—there may be some melody hidden inside waiting for you to discover it.

Think of how old buildings have lasted hundreds of years

inlaid with intricate carvings that are still beautiful today, or statues left to stand watch over cities. While they might be made of stone, they’re still inspiring. And while we may not be able to live as long as them (theoretically), why can’t we leave our mark? Sure, it’s easier said than done, but if you want to live a life with beauty and purpose—and do something meaningful for those around you—don’t settle for anything less than inspirational. It’s your life; make it count.

Breathe deeply with each exhale. Feel the oxygen enter your bloodstream

it will spread to every part of your body. With each inhale, feel that you are breathing life into yourself: healing, hope, inspiration. This is a symphony within you; use it to create beauty in your life. There will be setbacks – there will be a pain – but use it all as fuel for creating art in your life. Everything is an instrument with which to create art, and everything becomes magical when we turn our frustrations into fuel for creating something beautiful in our lives. If you’re going through hell, keep going. If life feels like being at sea without any shore in sight, keep swimming toward shore. If life feels bittersweet, know that there is sweetness out there – sometimes we just have to find it ourselves. Take one step at a time and breathe deeply; enjoy every moment because you are alive. And nothing else matters if you’re not alive: if there’s no joy or love or light in your life, then what’s even the point?

Find beauty everywhere; even if it doesn’t appear obvious

The symphony is bittersweet, but do you know what else is a symphony? Life. Use your time to create art. If you’re frustrated about your life, use your frustrations as fuel to create art. It’s beautiful, awe-inspiring, and magical. I don’t want to say that life is perfect because it isn’t. Life will always have its ups and downs. That’s why I believe it’s important to find beauty everywhere; even if it doesn’t appear obvious.
